Sublime Text 2: lower / upper bar instead of sidebar

I use a portrait-oriented monitor to have a long look of codes. I want to install a sidebar located either above or below to free up space on the sidebar for an open file. I looked through the settings, but I can not find a solution. Is it possible?

There is no way to do this in Sublime Text. You better just hide / show the sidebar when you need it and use cmd + P to switch your open files.
