Turn on the web inspector for the BlackBerry10 browser from the simulator

I am using the BB10 simulator in Windows7 using a bridged VMware Player . BB10 uses web pages.

I want to enable the developer tool to test my web application in BB10 browser .

According to this link:

https://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/getting_started_webinsp_microsite_1987477_11.html

I tried to enable the Web Inspector, but when I turned it on, it will show the status:

IP address
Not connected

I searched google many times. Can someone suggest me any solution to the problem above?

To start the web inspector from Google Chrome, your BB10 device must be connected to the system (either via USB or via Wi-Fi). In the case of the BB10 simulator, since the vmware adapter is already connected to your system adapter, you do not need to worry about the IP address being displayed in the browser browser of the BB10 web browser.

To start the BB10 Web Ispector from Google Chrome, follow these steps:

  • Select NAT as the vmware network adapter option (it should also work with the Bridge connection, but I just tried with NAT).

  • In the web inspector from the BB10 browser.

  • Enter the IP address displayed in the lower left corner of the simulator, followed by the default port β€œ1337” (ie 192.168.10.256:1337) in Google Chrome.

He will start to work.
