System.Delegate System.Reflection.MethodInfo.CreateDelegate (System.Type)

As far as I can tell, this error occurred in the past when Ninject was, and the target for the site package is 4.x and does not match each other. I checked on my machine and they match - both 4.0.

I just spent some time updating all the Nu-Get packages in my project. Prior to this, this error did not occur.

How can I fix this error?

This method does not exist in .net 4.5 - you should use Delegate.CreateDelegate instead instead. It seems to me that perhaps NInject is using this method incorrectly in the 4.0 nuget package, in which case you should report this as an error in NInject.

The first thing to do is verify that you are using the correct version of the dll, that is, in particular, build 4.0.

After that, one of:

  • rolling back to an earlier version of NInject
  • update .net framework version
  • download the code, fix it and submit the patch
