Creating physics spindles for unity

I want to create a bungee jumping game in Unity, and so I need rope physics. I especially need elastic ropes that can pull objects with speed after a little stretching. Do you know where to start? Because I have no idea how to start such scripts.

I looked at the Asset Store. There are some weight training equipment with a rope, but I have to do it on my own, plus they are really expensive.

I have already tried using Spring and / or custom joints in Unity, but they did not give what I want.

EDIT: I'm learning Jacobsen's relaxation method right now. If you have any other ways to suggest or find out the depth of the method, please feel free to help me.

There is an example in the Unity Wiki for creating cables based on 3D physics. It may take a bit of configuration to work the way you need it.

There is an Asset in the asset vault , which costs only $ 15. However, this may be too complicated for what you are doing.

Rope physics editing tool NEW QuickRopes 2 completely rewritten for ease of use. This tool is a powerful new way to generate and edit complex rope simulations. Use the built-in spline editor to shape your ropes into endless shapes before you ever get to play! Do you want to use fabric as your rope? Now you can with a new type of mesh fabric!

And from this question:

If you want to make a physical rope, you will need several segments of rigid bodies attached by joints. Currently, HingeJoint will be the best.

I recently worked on a game on Unity, where we had a chain / rope string of objects that stretch behind a symbol and this was the class we used to bind these solids together.

I will be honest, this is a rather difficult task, and there is actually not an easy way to implement this, especially winding / unwinding.

My personal advice is to fake it as best as possible. If the whole game is just the most realistic faucet ever built, just fake it.
