Fonts.com @ font-face version show status = canceled on Chrome network tab

I have a strange problem, today my fonts from fonts.com have the status canceled on the Chrome network tab.

The behavior is that when I am on a secure page (https) and then go to unsafe, the fonts will be canceled. But the good news is that after a few updates, the fonts are served properly.

Any ideas why this might happen?

In this case, the status is โ€œcanceledโ€ usually โ€œmasksโ€ the response 403, which is associated with the domain list of the Fonts.com project, which is used by our CDN to determine whether the page is allowed to use web fonts.

If updating the page (eventually) corrects it, most likely one or more of the required domains were not included in the list of projects. 403 response is cached when a page in such a domain loads and requests fonts, and if you do not explicitly clear or close the cache, it is used several times on pages where fonts usually work before the browser reconfirms the request.

We have a list of frequently asked questions for the list of project domains:

Check out the Chrome console tab! CORS error may occur - adding below lines to htaccess file

Header add Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*" Header add Access-Control-Allow-Headers "origin, x-requested-with, content-type"

should help
