Input type = place "date" - mobile devices

Question

Hi, what is best for text with a placeholder in input with type = "date"?

I want the phone to use its own functionality to select a date on the site, and not to enter a keyboard, but iOS devices ignore any date placeholder.

Try JS to work, but just crashed any androids by looking at it.
