WFF WebGet vs. WebInvoke (method = "GET")

All the messages I saw regarding these two attributes are focused on different HTTP verbs available using WebInvoke. But when GET is specified as a method, is there a difference between the two, is there any advantage of one over the other, or is it purely semantic?
