Google Earth plugin clicked javascript hookup event

Question

Is there a way to get a keypress event from the Google Earth plugin. I saw that GEWindow has a click event for the mouse, but I need to capture a keystroke in any form.

There is a workaround in the comments, but it is far from perfect.

In any case, if you put a “request”, you should receive updates about your status (just do not hold your breath!)
