Hey, so I have a website that has videos compiled from places on the Internet, primarily youtube, but several others. Now I'm wondering if there is a way to check the link to make sure they are still accessible through the unix shell. (My idea of ββrunning cron to check the videos is still available, and if you donβt delete them.) I know that I can use the user for this, but it always bothered me, and I was wondering if there is a way to check the flash video playback, though terminal. Any insight into this would be surprising since I have not found much on the Internet. Also pay attention to the technique. will work on all types of videos, including html5.
update . It so happened that through the api tube I could check the status of the video coming from youtube (which is the beginning). But I would like to know if there is anything else that is not a specific player, but just calls the video to play in the same way as the user.
