ITunes Connect complains of a “missing localized screen shot” even though iPhone 5 screenshots are already uploaded

My project combined Default-586h@2x.png because without it iTunes Connect would complain about "Invalid Binary - not optimized for iPhone 5".

Now the binary file is still not considered accepted with the error "There is no localized screenshot (Australian English)"

But I already presented screenshots of "3.5 inches of retina" and "4.0 inches of retina."

What else am I missing?

In this case, iTunes Connect does not explain the error very well.

The error is caused by the lack of a screenshot of the iPad.

When you submit an application profile, iTunes Connect does not tell you that an iPad screenshot is required. However, if you continue to download the application archive, iTunes Connect will return and tell you that there is a “missing screenshot.”

I assume that you do not intend to support iPAD in your application. So, go to the "Application Summary" tab of the Xcode application and select "devices = iPhone". Re-archive and upload your binary and it will work.

Go into itunesconnect, select your application and select “Choose a different language”, select Australian English and make sure that there is at least one screenshot for iphone 4 and iphone 5

I had the same problem and it did not work even when I put screenshots that were the right size.

It turns out that this worked with PNG files, not JPEG files. As soon as I saved my screenshots as .png, they were accepted and worked great.
