Updated chord chart d3

Question

I would like to change the d3 Chord Diagram :

I want the values ​​to be updated. This jsfiddle contains my code so far, but I am stuck as the ticks and their shortcuts do not seem to be updated (click the update link with a new matrix). The rest seems to be working fine (I think ...).

I think the problem is that ticks are in the tick group. I can’t figure out how to delete them or the entire group of ticks (see the code “???” in the code).

ticks.remove(); 

and / or

 tickGroups.remove(); 

do not lead to the expected result.
