Creating a class diagram from Visual Studio

Question

I would like to create a class diagram with relationships for my visual studio project. I opened my solution, added a new ModelingProject , added a new .classdiagram file, but when I want to drag my folders or my classes onto the chart layout, I get a "unavailable" sign.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

To create a class diagram, visual studio provides a built-in parameter, please use this. Go to the class view window of your project, RightClick → select Show → click View class diagram . This will create a class diagram for your project.
