S3 subdirectory with domain names

I would like to use S3 for file hosting. I want to use one bucket for all this. (important note)

In bucket, I would like to have a folder that appears in the domain. so something like this

Acct / bucketname / folder1 / file1 Acct / bucketname / folder2 / file2

I want to display

folder1.com - acct / bucketname / folder1 as well as folder2.com - acct / bucketname / folder2

Thus, I do not receive assets from one folder addressed in another domain name.

Note. The reason I don't want to use buckets for this is because there are 50 buckets per limit.

Currently due to some important details about S3:

  • You can do a 1: 1 mapping between the CNAME and the bucket because the buckets are DNS addressable.

  • S3 has no folders. S3 is a flat hierarchy of files inside a bucket. File names allow the characters / . Many user interfaces for S3 display them as folders, but this is an intricate concept.
