Running a project in google code: where is the download tab?

I started an open source project in google code. I saw on other tabs of the Google Project Downloads, where I suppose to upload my files. I need to share the Liferay project, and I prefer at this point to share the zip / war file (Liferay bundles with source code): can this be done? How can I create the downloads tab? Do I need to also use mercury, svn or git for this step?

Sorry, Google Code no longer supports downloads for new projects. The download links that you saw were for old projects that were grandfathered, but those projects would also no longer be able to create new downloads starting January next year.
