Google Plugin for Eclipse 3.7 not showing

I am running a 64-bit version of Windows 7 and Eclipse 32.

The problem is that the Google button with the g icon on the Eclipse toolbar does not appear after the installation of the GPE 3.7 and GWT SDK 2.5.1 plugins is complete. When I go to Preferences , there should be a google tab, but that doesn't show either. When I go to the menu "File" → "Create" → , I should see the web application project , but I do not see it. When I go to Window → Configure Perspective , and then the “Toolbar Visibility” tab, I don’t see a Google tree element there.

I have reset my perspective by going to the Window> reset Perspective ... menu. I even restarted Eclipse many times after installation.

There were no installation issues. If I go to Eclipse -> About Eclipse -> Installation Details , I see the Google App Engine Java SDK 1.8.1 , Google Plugin for Eclipse 3.7 and Google Web Toolkit SDK 2.5.1 next to all the other plugins that I installed on the list.

Can anyone help me solve this problem.

I was running Windows 7 64 bit, so I needed to install the 64 bit version of Eclipse.

I had the same problem and found out that all my Eclipse files (including eclipse.ini) are read-only. After all the files were downloaded, Google Plugin for Eclipse 3.7 appeared.

I know him a little late. But for someone it would be useful. I also ran into the same problem and solved it. Here is how Iresolved my eclipse was 32-bit, and my Java version was 64-bit. I uninstalled my JRE and installed the 32-bit version 1.8 JRE, and I was able to see the GWT.
