Need help in determining the barcode encoding from the old form

I have a paper-based barcode field created by an old AS / 400 system that I need to convert to a more modern reporting system. I am trying to track the encoding used by this barcode field, but I could not find anyone who knew firsthand about the reporting process.

The reporting system was developed in the mid-1980s, as far as I know.

Here is an example of an appropriate barcode. There are no alphanumeric fields in the report next to the barcode, so so far I have not been able to perform step-by-step analysis of the encoding. I suspect this is code 39, but I would like to be more confident before continuing.

Edit

This is an image of my attempt to manually decode using tables 39 ..

I just printed and looked at it using the MC9090, and it decodes as CODE 3 OF 9 with a value of 41031300161002121925 .

The easiest way is to simply view it. If you cannot, ask IBM programmers to look at DDS for a report. There will be a barcode name. If someone did something in Hard Way mode and the printerโ€™s built-in codes in the program, think that you do not need to create the same barcode - you only need to create one that scanners can read. Code 3 of 9 is extremely popular. Ask the application to create a sample, and then the scanner will try to read it.
