Learning cars with Google data

A few years ago I saw a fantastic presentation on computer training based on using Google as a data source. The idea was to use Google and Ruby to attract more people to machine learning concepts, as huge amounts of data are now easily accessible. For my life, I could not find this presentation. I understand that this is usually not a very good format to ask this question, but the content was so valuable and well presented that I felt that we would all be enriched with another pointer to this information.

Although I understand that this is somewhat vague, can anyone refer to this original video presentation?

If not, could you share some useful links that would allow you to start along this path of machine learning using the massive data sources that currently exist and are generally available?

As noted in the comments link: Intuition and training for data-driven machines

He was particularly interested in this quote: "... in some cases, you just better work on getting more data, and then spend your time improving the algorithm ..."

Great presentation and presenter ( Ilya Grigorik )! Highly recommended for those who want to embark on a machine learning path.
