Can we download apk with another signed keystore after deactivating the current apk in android

I want to download apk with another signed keystore after deactivating the current apk. In fact, the company lost the old keystore that was used for the signed APK. Thus, any other way to get the old keystore or download a new apk, like updating the application.

For this problem, here is the answer from the Google Play Team:

Hi x

Thank you for your attention. If you have lost the keystore, you will have to publish the application with a new package name and a new key. You must also update the description of the source application and unpublish it. Please note that users are allowed unlimited re-compaction of each application distributed through Google Play, the application remains available to users who have already installed it, even after it has been unpublished. We do not currently support uninstalling applications or reusing package names. Unfortunately, we can do nothing to help you with this.

As indicated in blackbelt, if you signed it with another keystore, this will be a new application. Therefore, you must tell your users that they need to download a new version of the application.

However, you can check this tool, which will try to recover your private key with an alias. I do not guarantee that you can get it, but you can try it.

The tool restores the key for your alias. By default, this is the same as the keystore password. Now you can save the key in the new keystore with the same password as the key! You can use this to sign apk and update your app on PlayStore.
