Lyx cannot find the knitr module

I port / fork from sweave to knitr and can run @yihui minimal example in Rstudio, but I have problems running it with Lyx (2.06). I get the message The module knitr has been requested by this document but has not been found in the list of available modules.

My PATH /usr/bin/Rscript (behind which Rscript , as suggested by @yihui here ) so that it looks visible, but Lisa doesn't seem to see it,

I also upgraded to version R 3.0.3 (Good Sport) today as part of a larger system upgrade (Mint 13 to Mint 15), which is the same as when I started using Lyx so that other things could happen at the same time. I assume that R 2.15 and 3.0.1 have the same PATH (as noted, currently /usr/bin/Rscript ), and that Rstudio and Lyx are not looking for different installations?

Exit LyX, delete (if necessary, backup) ~/.lyx and run LyX.
