How to make an iOS simulator pick up a real MAC location

Sometimes I need to demonstrate some location-based applications. I like to use my laptop and use it for demonstration. I know that I can change the location of the simulator so as not to point to California, but is there a way for cllocationmanager to select the actual location of the laptop?

This is not a GPS issue.

You need to look at iOS Simulator as a virtual machine in osx. Like every virtual machine, it has limited capabilities. So in the current version this is simply not possible - sorry.

To change the location of the debugger, look at the location debugger: http://socialbit.de/location-debugger (Note that I have not tested this application)

I don’t think mac has GPS like iphone / ipad. What you can do is point the location to the right place.
