Subtitles are displayed in moview format

I have a video downloaded from a link, as well as .srt files for it. How to show subtitles?

They are not included in the video; instead, they are listed as a separate URL. From what I was looking through so far, MPMoviePlayerController does not support such external subtitles, but AVPlayer does. Can someone suggest a solution for you?

You must implement the subtitles yourself. Therefore, you first need to analyze .srt, and then display UILabels with text at the right time.
