Web development without a mouse

I am trying to find a better way to debug a single page application with lots of ajax and javascript without using a mouse. I noticed that most of my time I spent on the web application panel and then looked at the results in the firebug / chrome developer tools. I'm used to developing without touching the mouse with emacs, but how can I do the same with the browser?

Depending on your needs (and capabilities), you might want to look at something like Selenium for automated testing.

Explore the keyboard shortcuts here , here , or here , depending on your OS. Similar links will be available for other major browsers.

Firefox is here .
