Report Designer quick execution does not appear

I just installed the TfrxReport application in my VCL application and then just do a button click event to show the report designer when the application starts, but the problem is that the runtime designer never appears to me ...

You need to put the frxDesigner component in the form or Datamodule so that your frxReport component includes runtime design.

I solved the problem.

  • Open Delphi
  • Follow the path Tools> Options> Library
  • Add library path Fast_report_install_folder \ source

  • add to part

    frxDesgn usage interface, frxDesgnCtrls, ....................

  • Now it will run the following code

      procedure TForm1.Button1Click(Sender: TObject); begin frxReport1.DesignReport; end;

It was written in 2013. I had the same problem and it was resolved. Perhaps that would be helpful.

Drag TFrxDesigner from the Platte tool. inside your TFrxReport

It seems that you are still using some FR Embarcadero release packages. Delete all FR instances, delete all FR files and folders (see also system and hidden folders), and then install FR Enterprise again
