Achieving Thermal Vision

I am sure that this will be a stupid question, but I ask that I have some kind of “LUCK”. I am doing a project, and my professor said: "Also try to use thermal vision." I am doing the whole project in OpenCV, and now I am dropping it.

I do not know how to do this heat vision . I only have $ 50- $ 70 to spend on any device, because the rest is spent on other devices that I use.

So my question is: how to make thermal vision? Now I identify the person using OpenCV with the help of videos shot with a conventional webcam, but also from the point of view of the professor’s thermal view. Is there a way to do thermal vision in opencv? What ID of CHEAPER do I need (link please)? The device must have a C # or C ++ api. Please, help.

Is your professor a reference to using infrared in conjunction with vision? In this case, all you have to do is remove the IR filter from the camera. Without this filter, infrared radiation passes to the sensor and is clearly visible in the image. You can refer to this article for a start. I am sure it is easier on webcam :)
