How to draw a video in android?

I am trying to create an android application that allows the user to draw a circle or other shape in a video stream to highlight the area of ​​interest to you. Is it possible to directly draw a video or even overlay a canvas on top of a video image? I am using Eclipse.

Perhaps you could start by creating a bitmap (transparent background) above the video and draw it? Another idea is to create a transparent fragment, it will probably be easier to do, and you will have more control over it.
