Is there an on-demand photo printing API in the world?

I am launching a website where users can upload artistic images and photographs. Now I am looking for a photo printing API for selling printed products to visitors. I want to do this completely from my own application under my own domain. Basically, I need something similar to Google Cloud Print, but I really need high-quality print products, such as large canvases and aluminum prints. This print service will preferably be available globally and at least take care of the actual printing, international delivery and - if I'm really lucky - also customer service.

So far, I have not been very successful, because most printing tools do not have a very user-friendly API and / or require a minimum number of orders, which is ridiculous. Suggestions are welcome!

Try Peecho . The Peecho Simple Print API allows developers to fully create professional printing features in their applications using the very simple REST API to place print orders through the Peecho cloud printing network. It is prepaid, so you can create all the screens yourself, including statement and payment (so that you can choose your own prices and profits). There is no minimum order quantity - you can start with 1 piece.

If there are photos in the gallery on your website, perhaps you just need to implement only the Simple javascript print button . The Simple Print button allows digital publishers to sell their content in print by adding one line of code to their website. It includes payment and payment, so there will be less effort for you.

For both services, Peecho offers a control panel for order management and tracking, worldwide production in print media such as CEWE COLOR and RPI Print, international delivery and delivery, and even customer service. Products range from hardback books to high-quality wall decorations, such as aluminum prints offered, for example, by the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam.

Take a look at https://www.kite.ly for SDK and RESTful print offers for mobile printers.

Full disclosure: I am a co-founder of the company, so it’s a little biased, but our products and offers are also really very good (especially from the point of view of developer integration), so I will be able to shout about it;)

We are all about high-quality, beautiful, personalized products, and we are constantly adding new ones: photo printing, magnets, postcards, posters, stickers, cases for phones, etc. etc.

Several of our partners also have millions of users hitting our services so that you are in a good company!

Here, take a look at our iOS Print SDK (Android is similar, and the REST API is naturally without an interface and for more advanced use cases):

Take a look at the Printchomp Print API http://printchomp.com/api . There are currently over 10,000 printers in North America, including photo printing on demand. The Printchomp Print API really reassures and uses the Hypertext Application Language (HAL) to make supplies and study materials. All API calls and responses are very consistent, which simplifies programming.

There is also http://print.milkbooks.com/ They are one image printing API that easily connects to any platform. The fields are very high, as is the price, but this is offset by the super-high quality of the product. You control RRP to lower the price at any time. Once the user has ordered the book, you are no longer involved in the process, since they all process, from payment to a full refund, even if it is damaged during transit.

Thanks to a wide range of products from single art prints to music cards, gallery canvases and photo books, including a number of Moleskine options, the variety is surprisingly diverse, given that they are specialized publishers of art books.

The API is easy to integrate, does not require investment on your part, is a multi-platform platform, handles all aspects of the order process. The API scales as it is processed by Amazon Web Services, so it grows with your company. It is customizable as you can develop your own range of products, however, this requires some investment on your part, and since they always use https on politics, security is also pretty tough.

There is also http://www.theprintersinc.co.uk/ They also have a RESTful API, with no registration, worldwide shipping and minimum orders. In fact, your application can still place orders, even if your account balance reaches zero. Your orders will be suspended until you replenish your account. They print on 12 Giclee graphic printers and can print from A5 prints to a whopping 60 x 40 inch canvas ... In addition, they also have free shipping in the UK.
