I have a requirement to control the frequency of sending emails from MS Dynamics CRM 2011 when distributing campaign activity (to avoid negative consequences for network performance).
The CRM 2011 instance is integrated and used almost exclusively from Outlook through the CRM plug-in for the Outlook client (emails are tracked, etc.).
How can I control the frequency of sending emails as part of bulk emails (e.g. 500 emails with large attachments, restriction on sending 100 emails per minute)? Does CRM 2011 Mail Router Provide More Control Over This? Can I use the CRM email router to route when CRM 2011 is used exclusively through Outlook?
