CouchDB offers the ability to perform facet searches through Lucene. I would like to perform a faceted search where one of the faces is geospatial (for example, within 30 km of lat / long).
Is this possible, and if so, how?
Check out GeoCouch is a CouchDB fork that supports geospatial queries / indexes.
