How to calculate distance using accelerometer using iphone sdk?

What is the best way to calculate the distance between two points / Or can we say when we go through the calculation of the distance traveled with the accelerometer? My main question is that I am working on an application in which I need to calculate the distance using two locations, but sometimes the kernel locations cannot update the location, so while I calculate the distance traveled?

You can’t even accurately measure the speed from the accelerometer , so you definitely won’t be able to get an accurate measure of the distance traveled.
