Appstore application name is different from your mobile device

Question

I am going to submit my application to the App Store. As you see in the following screenshots, as soon as you open the App Store, you can find a very long application name. But as soon as you download the application, only the short name is displayed. How is this possible?

The name below the application icon on the device is the display name of the package.

By default, the display name of the package matches the name of the package, but you can install it in Xcode by selecting the info.plist file and installing it in the editor.

The display name of the package does not have to match the name of the package or the name of the application that you installed in iTunes Connect, but it must match the name of the application that you specified in the store, otherwise Apple will reject the application.

Only the Bundle identifier needs to be matched. The creators of this application set the name of the application in iTunes Connect:

For the name displayed in the application, they set this value in their info.plist :

These names are completely independent of each other , but . Apple rejects applications where the display name is radically different from the name on the App Store. Main Guide: Don't name the Waffles app on the App Store and Unicorn on the device.

The name that you enter when connecting iTunes when creating the application does not have to match the product name in the application build settings (info plist). Only the packet identifier must match.
