PHPStorm - show all validation errors

Question about PHPStorm for beginners.

I installed PHPStorm yesterday and was very impressed. It revealed a lot of small problems with my code, for example, static references to non-static classes - I liked the fact that it revealed problems in my open PHP files. There was a slightly long list in the “Test Results” section (I think) that revealed errors in different groups. Excellent!

Today, I can’t get him to identify any errors at all except “Typos”. The same project.

It's clear that I messed up the configuration somewhere, but I'm pretty confused about where. I went through the Settings section in the last hour, trying different things, but I can’t get it to work as before.

Any advice ...?

An editor that does not perform the correct code allocation or does not work checks may be caused by damaged caches.

The solution is to make File | Invalidate Caches and restart the IDE.

Invalid caches did not work for me.

In my case, the checks were disabled because I activated the wrong profile, which did not check problems with PHP.

Therefore, do not forget to check the profile used:

Right click on the control indicator

Click on Test Settings

Choose the right profile
