DIA (chart editor) how to print pages?

I have a chart that I created, quite large. I'm trying to figure out how to print it so that it prints beautifully several pages, how to do it?

When I am currently printing a problem, the print verrrry chart elements are large. Like a single button, it takes up a whole page, which is a waste of ink.

What is the best practice (the right way) to set up a chart in DIA for printing and scaling paper size correctly, etc. etc.

I am currently launching the DIA version of Mac OS X.

If you are now how many pages in width and height, your chart should be

  • Choose File โ†’ Page Setup from the menu
  • Select "Fit to"
  • Enter the number of pages

Did you know that "page breaks" are always displayed in Dia (usually blue lines). What an easy way to check how your printed chart appears on pages

If a simple approach with the number of pages does not fit your approach, you will have to switch from โ€œFit toโ€ to โ€œScaleโ€ and work out the scale you are looking for.

I ended up exporting it from dia as svg and then resized it to gimp when I wanted to print the whole chart that filled in the text sizes for me, but I changed the default text, so if you didn't change the default text, it probably will still look normal.

In the end, the print screen and paint were what gave me the best results with a diagnosis, sad but true.

If you find a better way to export print files, please let me know.
