With Java, you can use ResouceBundles . With their help, you can create files that store, each, strings and objects for a specific locale. For example, you write Resource Bundles for en , en_US , en_UK .
Let's say en_US is the default value for English. You write en , as if where en_US , leave en_US empty and just write the differences between en_US and en_UK in the en_UK file, Java will find the "equal" in the standard en file.
This presentation will introduce some of the Java i18n concepts.
