Fullcalendar remove header still shows a small cell

Question

I am trying to remove the title in my daily view in my fullcalendar plugin. using

columnFormat: {day: false}, 

deletes the text, but it still leaves a small blank cell! how can i remove this?

You can hide the title with a configuration like this

caption: false
