Pentaho Data Integration: Running a PDI on a BI server or with a card?

I am working on a pentach project. I am going to use the solution for the entire community.

I will have tasks and conversions that will be launched by the user for some (so with the PDI on their computer) and automatically for others.

I am wondering if I can install the PDI on the server side (with BI server and DW) and schedule an automatic / transfo job with it?

There is also a part of the map that allows you to perform tasks remotely, but I do not see the difference with my solution above.

It seems like carte is easy if you want to complete a task (i.e. on a computer) on a server (remotely), so basically for a lot of work, I think.

Otherwise, to automatically schedule, you add PDI to the server and use your favorite scheduler (cron ...), which will run the kjb file

I just wanted to know if I can complete the task on my server when the file (xml) is added to the repository and how to do it?
