When I started learning CMF / CMS, I found this site to be very useful. There are many frameworks, and most of them, as a rule, will meet your needs. But there are about a thousand ways to go when it comes to CMF / CMS, and that should fit your coding style. Especially if you really aren't using MVC encoding, you probably have to compromise with the framework you will be using. Of course, Wordpress will be the easiest, but it will be an understatement of what you are probably planning.
