Opencart checks installed version of vqmod

Question

Is there a way to check the version of vqmod that is installed from the opencart extension?

I have too many users who send me support emails and most of the time because they need to update vqmod. I want to add a warning message about the need to update vqmod.

The vQmod version number is private and is available only to tell the user the version. I think you can upload a file and use regular expression to find the version number. My concern is what you use, it is incompatible. vQmod is backward compatible with 1.0 to the latest version. The simplest answer is to clearly indicate the extension that version X is required or later vQmod for your extension to be compatible. I sell more than 40 mods, most of which are vQmodded in one form or another, and I have not come across this with my clients.

To check which version of VQMOD is starting, open the file. /vqmod/vqmod.php look at line 7 for ... private $ _vqversion = '2.3.2';
