Between the chef and the puppet body, where is it best to support Windows? They both claim to do this, but there are several options that may be unclear at an early stage. For example, a chef doesn’t support things like
Git Ifconfig Link Package (but gem_package - for ruby stones, works) SCM Script diversion ..
and many cookbooks use them, and I assume that the above makes them useless for Windows. Not sure how mature the puppet is when it comes to Windows? Have you compared the chef and puppet support to the last windows?
