Alternative Sendgrid?

I have been using sendgrid for a year. Recently, they have added a fee for using their newsletter application, which is used for free. Buying a standalone autoresponder to send out newsletters is more of a kill for my needs because I don’t need complex segments and functions. I am looking for an SMTP relay service, such as sendgrid, which also has a newsletter application, and can allow me to do the following from the interface at no additional cost:

  • Save emails (including additional field names, etc.) in the list.
  • Create and schedule campaigns.
  • See or open open / click reports via domain-based APIs (hotmail, gmail, etc.).
  • Watch or pull out a contact that did not open or click on email from a specific date.

To run # 4 using sendgrid, I have to buy a dedicated server to handle notifications of incoming events, since my VPS server cannot take the load. This is another additional expense.

Mailjet allows me to do 2, 3, and 4, but I can only store contacts with emails. Their application is not intended to save additional fields, such as names, ips, etc. Moreover, their support is really very slow. It takes several days to get an answer.

Any alternatives you can offer for the features I'm looking for?

Other SMTP relay services that offer newsletter features include Mandrill and Elastic Email. - An elastic email marketing platform is included in all plans. - The Mandrill WordPress Plugin sends emails created by WordPress through Mandrill.
