Does Eclipse have a Syntax Selection feature?

Is there a choice in Eclipse for syntax that is something like CMD + w in Intellij IDEA?

What you are describing is called the "Select Enclosing Element" in Eclipse, and the default binding is Shift + Alt + Up .

(You can change the key binding in Window -> Preferences -> General -> Keys.)

I'm not sure, but I think you are looking for Content Assist functionality.

If its a Content Assist, you can call it using Ctrl + Space
