How to deploy applications on the Play Framework

I am new to Play Framework (2.0.4). I developed a small application and ran it locally on the embedded web server of the playback platform. Now I want to deploy it on a remote server (APPFOG.COM or on any other web server). Can someone tell me how to deploy it remotely.

Should I create a war file, if so, then advise me how to create and deploy it on a remote server.

If there is any other way, please guide me in this regard.

Thank you in advance

The best place to watch is the Play documentation for Github: https://github.com/playframework/Play20/wiki/Production

In this document, you will find several ways to deploy an application to multiple providers:

But if you want to deploy your Play2 application in a servlet container (i.e. as a war), check out play2-war-plugin .

Take a look at this, it may be useful if you want to automate the deployment of the Play application.

A recently written message showing the steps to deploy a full-fledged self-healing play application using supervisor and monit.

I wrote this because there are no solutions to problems in the game’s deployment documentation, such as crashes due to timeout exceptions or application freezes due to memory leaks at the time of writing. Monit is a great tool for monitoring processes running in the background. http://www.ravinderpayal.com/Deploying-Play-Scala-application-into-production-by-Ravinder-Payal/
