Qt Creator lacks folder / file structure

Qt does not seem to structure files in folders, as other IDEs usually do, such as netbeans, which puts header files in a header folder, source files in a source folder, and so on. I saw that this was done in Qt, but I do not know why this is not on my computer.

I looked through the options, and as far as I can see, there is no way for it.

Is there an option for this that I missed, or is there another solution that might solve my problem?

Any help would be great, thank you.

This does not actually change the folder structure, but imitates that Qt stores the header and source files in different folders.

When I first booted up, this parameter changed for me, so it looked like a mess, but I understood the setting, which is next to where it says β€œProjects” (in most cases, like Build and Debug) and whenever clicked on it, it turned out that the settings of the "simplified tree" were changed, and I just did not notice this.

In short: make sure the simplified tree option is not checked.

Qt is a library, not an IDE. Therefore, I assume that you are actually talking about Qt Creator.

The creator does not apply any structure to your files, that’s right. Just create them wherever you want :-) I really don't understand how this can be a problem.

In C / C ++ projects, file structures tend to change much more widely than in Java and other projects. Therefore, using one file structure, you must break many projects and make it difficult to use them with Creator.
