Iphone original image disappears very quickly

The launch of the image appears and disappears very quickly in the iPhone. How can I control this time? How many seconds are specified by default?

You can use the sleep(time in seconds) function in application:didFinishLaunchingWithOptions: to explicitly increase the time.

For instance:

 sleep(3); 

Increases time to 3 seconds.

Note As rmaddy said, looking at the splash screen for a long time is not a good practice. But you can use it at the request of the client.

There is no default value - it remains until your program is loaded and returned from application:didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:

If you want to save the image under program control, you need to place it on the screen manually, as the first thing that the program displays, and then release it through regular channels. It would be relatively easy on the iPhone to 5 (just put a large UIImageView with Default.png ), but, like the iPhone 5 and iPad, you have to make some decisions regarding which is displayed by default.

You can also try adding sleep time to your didFinishLaunchingWithOptions method, as shown below:

 - (BOOL)application:(UIApplication *)application didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:(NSDictionary *)launchOptions { [NSThread sleepForTimeInterval:3.0f]; //add 3 seconds longer. //other code.... }
