.Net 4.5 WCF 404.3 Error in IIS 7.5

I deployed the MVC4 web application, including the wcf service. when I try to go to the .svc file, I get error 404.3 (error code 0x80070032).

I tried all the relevant answers that I read: 1. adding blinking .svc 2. checking that the ISAPI server filter includes ASP.Net 4 bothe 32bit and 64bit. 3. Verify that server management features include WCF activation.

I already have an MVC3 web application with a WCF service running on the same server.

Can you tell me what might cause this problem?

I noticed that in IIS Manager in Handler Mapping, there is a difference between the two domains on which the applications are running. the worker is almost empty (including only StaticFile), while the new one has a long list of handlers (I don't know if this is relevant or not).

Thanks!

I needed to mark “HTTP Activation” in the “Add Role Services” section in Windows Server 2012.

Run the aspnet_regiis -iru command at a command prompt as an administrator and try again.

Make sure that the two WCF services are not running on the same port, i.e. you are not connecting to the WCF MVC3 service. See How to use multiple WCF services from one client for how to do this.
