Can cybercriminals defeat iOS keychain and data protection encryption?

I am developing an iOS application which should store username and password and other sensitive data. I am considering using NSUserDefaults or a keystore. Is there an even safer method that allows attackers to play the iOS keychain or such data protection?

This entire security section reads well here , this is an older article, but anyway. I personally believe that the whole security concept on the iOS platform for apples along with hardware encryption on iOS devices is really good. Android and Android devices are problematic, as we all know.

But adding extra security measures by encrypting your data additionally is not a bad idea!
