Export an existing express store to a new site

I have an Expresso Store configured and running on an old site. I am developing a new site, installing a new version of the Store and creating several test products. Any idea how to export old products to a new site?

As far as I can see, the products are stored in exp_channels and exp_store_products in the database. Can I do some export / import between databases?

I would recommend getting something like DataGrab from AJ Weaver http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/datagrab

Data is stored in channel records, so it should be as simple as exporting from an old channel and importing into a new channel.

As Carl said, DataGrab will be your best bet if you don't want to dump the entire database and import it into a new site.

The store has some data in exp_channel_data, but you also have data in exp_store_products, exp_store_product_modifiers, exp_store_product_options, exp_store_stock, exp_store_stock_options for your products that you need to take care of if you were looking for data transfer manually .z
