Droid Sans on Galaxy S3?

I have a webpage where I have a font family selected as:

font-family: Droid Sans, sans-serif; 

This works great on Motorola Droid X, where the font displays correctly. However, on the Galaxy S3, the font is displayed as Helvetica looks.

Anyone have any ideas how / why this is happening?

Samsung seems to no longer provide Droid fonts. This disappeared for me when I upgraded my Galaxy S2 from Android 2.4 to Android 4 (factory update provided by Samsung). They replaced Droid Sans with the awful Roboto font :(
