Partial Refunds at Exp: resso Store

Is there a way to handle partial returns from Exp: resso Store? I periodically need to return only one item from the order, and I could not figure out how to do this. Or, without doing all this through CP, can I process the refund through Stripe (my payment processor) and then simply remove the item from the order or mark it as “returned” (for agreed records)?

It is not possible to use CP, and some gateways do not support partial refunds in any case. However, I'm sure Stripe does, so the best solution is to do it through the Stripe website.

To put up with your store, you can either make the Partially Refunded status or simply add a manual payment to the order with a negative amount (however, this will cause the order to appear as “Unpaid”).
