Is it possible to log in to a Microsoft account with a Windows 8 phone emulator?

I recently tried logging into my Microsoft account to check out some features that require it (Skydrive, Store, many other things). However, when I try to log in, I get this error:

"We encountered a problem signing ... 0x8000FFFF"

Is it just not supported? How do you test things like the Skydrive API without a physical Windows 8 phone?

This, unfortunately, is not possible because the public released the SDK. This was previously possible in pre-released versions of the SDK and during the closed public beta.
