SMS confirmation code is too long

I'm trying to register as a developer, and I was offered my cell phone number.

I received an SMS code, but with a length of 8 characters, and the text field allows only a code of 6 characters.

How can I enter the code that I have?

While I was able to reproduce your problem, the SMS message I received while trying to confirm my identity on the confirmation page, I will also receive a link that served as a secondary means for verification, rather than manually entering the code and working.
